Man works for 31yrs on fake papers, booked 2yrs after retirement

Agra: For 31 years, he enjoyed the perks that come with being a UP government employee. But all along, Sudhir Kumar, 62, a resident of Alawalpur in Muzaffarnagar, had been working as a driver with UP State Road Transport Corporation on fake papers. In fact, he retired two years ago from the Khatauli Roadways bus depot.But its not been a happy ending for Kumar. Taking note of a complaint that he used fake educational certificates to secure the job, a local court in Muzaffarnagar has now ordered police to register a case in the matter.According to police, complainant Deepak Tandon, who is known to the accused, alleged that Kumars date of birth on his certificates from class 1 to 10 is August 15, 1965. Kumar has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including cheating and forgery. The allegations stated that Azam Khan and his wife helped their son obtain two fraudulent birth certificates. One certificate indicated a birth date in Rampur and the other in Lucknow.
