Two sisters die by suicide at Agra ashram

AGRA: Two sisters, staying at a Brahma Kumaris ashram in Agra, allegedly hanged themselves to death on Friday night. In suicide notes addressed to CM Yogi Adityanath, the duo blamed four people associated with the spiritual organisation, accusing them of usurping their money to the tune of Rs 25 lakh and demanded life imprisonment for them.Shikha Singhal (34) and Ekta (38) had been staying at the ashram in Jagner locality for a year.They were found dead around 11pm on Friday. They also sent suicide notes to the Brahma Kumaris groups and their family members on WhatsApp, holding four people -- Neeraj Singhal, his father Tarachand, Guddal and Poonam (currently residing in an ashram in Gwalior) -- responsible for their extreme step.
