Four baratis dead in road accident in Mathura

AGRA: Four persons died and four sustained injuries when a Tempo Traveller in which they were travelling collided with a truck on National Highway 19 under Kosi Kalan police station limits in Uttar Pradeshs Mathura district."The incident occurred around 11pm Tuesday when 15 members of a wedding party were returning from Umraya village in Mathura. They were on their way to Palwal in Haryana," additional superintendent of police, Trigun Bishen, said.Dalbir Singh (35), Dhruv (16), Chunni Lal (55), and Shyam Kumar (40), all relatives of the groom, died in the accident.The four injured persons are being treated at a local hospital. The truck driver fled with his vehicle, police said. "The CCTV footage of the area is being examined," said SHO Kosi Kalan Anuj Kumar Rana.
