Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Water activists have pressed for the need to discharge water towards Majalgaon dam as upstream dams are set to release 8.6 TMC water. The Majalgaon irrigation project currently holds only 9% of its capacity. The situation is classified as "serious" but not "critical" at the moment, with stress on the infrastructure likely to increase in the coming months.
