Contractual staffers hold protest over unpaid salaries

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Hundreds of contractual staffers of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar municipal corporation held a protest against the civic body and the labour contractors, demanding the release of their unpaid salaries for the past two months and Diwali bonuses.Labour activist Yashwant Bhosale said, The state government and the labour commissioner have asked the civic body and the labour contractor to pay the contractual staffers in accordance to the minimum wages act, but nobody is paying heed.
