Bareilly: Union minister for women and child development Maneka Gandhi on Friday said that residents of Baheri can approach her in case of any inconvenience. Addressing a public meeting in Baheri, 47 km from her, Gandhi said that she is like a mother figure to people and is available to help them.“Don’t think that I am different from you just because I am a Union minister. If you are facing any inconvenience with the police, officials or with your body, come to me for help. I am like your mother,” the minister said during a public meeting at Maanpur village in support of Baheri candidate Chhatrapal Gangwar.“We have been helping people who need our aid and it will continue. The boy, Dinesh, has been admitted to ICU in a hospital in Dehradun and they do not have enough money for treatment.
