Tribune News ServiceBathinda, July 20The Punjab Students’ Union on Saturday intensified its protest against the Parents-Teacher Association fund being charged from the Scheduled Category students at Government Rajindra College during admission. The union leaders took out a protest march from the college to the Deputy Commissioner's office. The union had staged a dharna on Thursday outside the office of the Government Rajindra College's principal. But it was termed unauthorised by the principal, saying that they (union leaders) didn't ask for permission to hold a protest. We have been told that the DC will meet the union leaders on Monday.”
