A visit to the vegetable market revealed that bottle gourd, tomatoes and capsicum were the worst hit. A vegetable vendor said, “The prices have increased by around 30 per cent, due to the rains. It may take some days for prices to come down.”A fruit seller said, “The supply has got disrupted but the prices are so far the same. If there are more rains the prices may rise.”
