Kaushal Blaster win cricket title

Tribune News ServiceBathinda, November 11The team of Kaushal Blaster won the three-day cricket tournament organised by the district administration at Cops Club here on Monday. The tournament was organised to mark the 550th Gurpurb. In the final, Kaushal Blaster defeated the Plus Hospital team by 34 runs. Deputy Commissioner B Srinivasan gave away the winning amount of Rs21,000 and the trophy to the winning team. On the occasion, he also tried his hand in cricket and batted for some time to mark the opening of the final match.

Bathinda, November 11 The team of Kaushal Blaster won the three-day cricket tournament organised by the district administration at Cops Club here on Monday. The tournament was organised to mark the 550th Gurpurb. In the final, Kaushal Blaster defeated the Plus Hospital team by 34 runs. Harman Hundal was adjudged the best bowler while Kamal Akalgarh was declared the best batsman. Dilbag Brar bagged the man of the series award. Deputy Commissioner B Srinivasan gave away the winning amount of Rs21,000 and the trophy to the winning team. The runners-up team received Rs11,000 as prize money. Finance Minister Manpreet Singh Badal lauded all players and said sports played a vital role in life. On the occasion, he also tried his hand in cricket and batted for some time to mark the opening of the final match. The DC motivated the players and said winning and losing was a part and parcel of the game. SSP Nanak Singh was also present on the occasion.
