Indore, Bhopal emerge cleanest cities, again!

BHOPAL: It was more of relief, over joy for Bhopal and Indore – as two Madhya Pradesh cities retained their position as the top two cleanest cities for the second consecutive year. Emerging among the cleanest cities in the country, BMC commissioner Priyanka Das said, “Swachh Survekshan in 2018 was more competitive than last year. MP state assembly elections are to be held later this year.The result of Swach Survekshan 2018 , a sanitation and hygiene survey of 4,041 cities was announced on Wednesday. Incremental improvements in collection and disposal of waste were needed.” We focussed on evaluation criteria of the survey and improved upon those parameters, she added. The jingles played non-stop on municipal corporation vehicles.
