BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh BJP will showcase party’s ideology and achievements through an exhibition during ‘Karyakarta Mahakumbh’ to be held at Jamboori Maidan, in the capital on September 25. Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the exhibition on Sunday.The BJP has made elaborate arrangements for Mahakumbh, where the party expects participation of 10 lakh workers. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP national president Amit Shah are likely to attend the mega convention to boost morale of party workers ahead of assembly elections in the state.“The exhibition divided into five sections displays party’s journey and commitment for people. It included profiles of party’s ideologues and personalities, who had contributed to the growth of BJP. The Mahakumbh will be historic to enthuse party workers for the party’s victory for fourth time in the state,” said chief minister Chouhan while inaugurating the exhibition. Replying to a question on Congress rally, Chouhan said Congress was restricted to small grounds and lanes. It was the BJP, which showed courage to hold such a mega convention of workers at Jamboori maidan,” he said.Taking a jibe at Rahul Gandhi , Chouhan said in Bhopal rally, Congress president again winked his eye.“When Rahul winked in Parliament, I thought it happened by mistake. But when he winked his eye in Bhopal Congress rally, I was surprised,” said Chouhan.He said Karyakarta Mhahkumbh will display the strength of BJP which Congress could never achieve. Chouhan was accompanied by state BJP president Rakesh Singh and Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar among others. On the occasion, BSP leader from Bhind, Romesh Mahant joined BJP with his supporters.Mahant had contested assembly poll against Congress leader and MLA Govind Singh from Lahar seat, said an official release.
