40-year-old kills self after losing bike to gambling

BHOPAL: A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in TT Nagar on Monday. When he returned home without the bike he told his mother that he lost it to gambling. Bairagarh police have registered a case and started investigations. No suicide note was recovered from the spot which could point to the reason for the suicide. Nishatpura police have registered a case in the matter and started investigations.

BHOPAL: A 40-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in TT Nagar on Monday. Initial investigations suggested that he was depressed after losing money in gambling . He had even placed his bike on bet which he lost too. TT Nagar police have registered a case and started investigations.According to police, the deceased Suraj Keer, a resident of Jawahar Chowk, was working in a private job. Police said that Keer had left home on his elder brother's bike. When he returned home without the bike he told his mother that he lost it to gambling. Subsequently, he was found hanging in his room. Family members rushed him to hospital where he was declared dead on arrival. Police have registered a case and started investigations.Meanwhile, in another incident, a 17-year-old girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Nishatpura on Monday. Her parents along with her younger brother had gone to a relative's house in Koh-e-Fiza locality. When they returned around 7.30pm, they found her hanging. They rushed her to hospital where she was declared brought dead. Nishatpura police have registered a case in the matter and started investigations. No suicide note was recovered from the spot which could point to the reason for the suicide. The family told police that the girl’s mother had scolded her for not doing household chores properly and she was upset over it.In the third incident, the body of a 45-year-old marriage garden manager was found hanging on the garden premises located in Bairagarh on Monday. The deceased, identified as Dinesh Tiwari, hailed from Damoh district. Police said that he left a suicide note in which he wrote that no one should be held responsible for his extreme step. Bairagarh police have registered a case and started investigations.
