The party workers raised pro-Rahul Gandhi slogans, danced, bursted crackers and distributed sweets right before the noon.Senior party leaders preferred to remain inside the party office glued to their television screens till late in the night for the final tally.Policemen quickly sensed the jubilant mood of Congress workers and the possibility that party may get more seats from BJP quickly put barricades outside the party office and deployed force to man the traffic outside party's office on Link Road Number 1.Huge turnout of party workers at the party office led to jam like situation on the Link Road. But the party workers overlooked it in the joy of party performing well after fifteen years in MP. On the other hand, scene outside BJP office remained calm till the evening and party workers and leaders preferred not to be too loud till the final results.
