TOI possess a copy of the documents Karimuddin had presented.Surprisingly, last year, he had represented two different schools in two events of different age categories hosted under the banner of 64th school state athletics championship, using two different eligibility certificates.An eligibility certificate from Noble Academy Higher Secondary School mentions his age as 12 years one month and four days as on December 31, 2018 with date of birth mentioned as November 27, 2006, whereas the document from Ideal Higher Secondary School shows him to 14 years one month and 4 days old as on December 31, 2018.Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a senior coach said, everybody knows about the alleged fake certificates presented by Karimuddin.“No one wants to expose such matter. This is funny that even school education department does not even cross check with the principals of the schools where the atheletes participate.”Coaches said that Karimuddin is not the only athlete who has indulged in such activities. “There should be a thorough probe in the matter. By doing such things, athletes are wasting their talent,” they added.
