CM Kamal Nath flags off 40 state-of-the-art ambulances

BHOPAL: Chief minister Kamal Nath on Monday flagged off 40 new ambulances equipped with life-saving facilities. ZHL has been operating the 108 service for over two years now. It is is currently operating more than 3,300 ambulances across 18 states.Health minister Tulsiram Silawat , minister for public relations P C Sharma, MSME minister Arif Aqueel and minister for cooperatives Govind Singh along with other officials of the health department were present on the occasion. It is expected that emergency medical aid will be provided to more than 1 crore people through the 108 service.It was informed on the occasion that 115 new 108 ambulances will be launched by the end of February.Another set of 190 new ambulances is expected in the next few weeks, said Ziqitza Healthcare Limited representative. These ambulances would be added the government's fleet of 108 free ambulances .The new ambulances are equipped with basic medicines, oxygen cylinders and other advanced medical equipment for aid of the citizens.The ambulances would deal with emergency needs in various districts across Madhya Pradesh 108 Sanjeevani service provides emergency health care services in case of accidents, heart attacks, stroke or any other medical emergencies.
