Woman stabs KG teachers with knitting needle

Ayodhya Nagar SHO Mahendra Kulhara said she had allegedly tried to burn her four-year-old daughter alive about six months ago. She survived.According to the complaint filed by the school coordinator, the woman arrived in school at 1.30pm and demanded to see a teacher. SHO Kulhara said that the woman started creating a ruckus at the police station while she was being handed over to her parents. A 37-year-old mentally unsound woman barged into a kindergarten in Ayodhya Nagar on Monday, and stabbed three teachers with a knitting needle.Thankfully, none of them was seriously hurt. When the other teachers intervened, she allegedly pulled out a sharp knitting needle and began stabbing all three.The school staff informed police, who took her in custody.

Since the teacher was not on campus then, she was advised to meet the coordinator. Two teachers sensed something wrong and decided to escort her to the coordinator’s office. The woman insisted on speaking to the coordinator alone, but when the teachers didn’t budge, she flew into a rage, grabbed the coordinator by her hair and shoved her to the floor. When the other teachers intervened, she allegedly pulled out a sharp knitting needle and began stabbing all three.The school staff informed police, who took her in custody. Her family told police that she is being treated for a mental disorder. SHO Kulhara said that the woman started creating a ruckus at the police station while she was being handed over to her parents.
