Meeting held to discuss Govt's efforts to open schools: Parents not convinced

The All India Parents Association held an online meeting on Tuesday. The meeting was held to discuss the Government's efforts to open schools in a phased manner due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic. In this meeting, it was decided that schools should not be opened until the disease medication is launched. President if Madhya Pradesh Parents Associatipn Prabodh Pandya said, "Our children are not testing kits. The memorandum will be sent to the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Chief Minister, Minister of Human Resources.

The parents feel unsafe in sending their wards to school from July. The All India Parents Association held an online meeting on Tuesday. The meeting was held to discuss the Government's efforts to open schools in a phased manner due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic. There were other issues that were discussed during the meeting. The parents discussed exploitation by schools in the name of tuition fees, and online education. In this meeting, it was decided that schools should not be opened until the disease medication is launched. The parents are of the view that the schools should not be opened till September and the decision should be taken by the Central Government and not State Government. The parents also suggessted that if the situation is not controlled, then this year should be declared as zero year. Our children are our capital, we cannot allow them to be used. There is an unlocked campaign by the Government to promote business activities. The school is not a business establishment. Therefore, we will strongly oppose the effort to open them. When the schools are not open, there is no question of paying fees, the parebts discussed. President if Madhya Pradesh Parents Associatipn Prabodh Pandya said, "Our children are not testing kits. We can not take any risk." In this meeting, it was decided that on Sunday, June 14, protesting the decision of simultaneous governance in the whole country. The memorandum will be sent to the Hon'ble Prime Minister, Chief Minister, Minister of Human Resources. In this meeting, President of Madhya Pradesh Palak Federation, Kamal Vishwakarma, General Secretary Prabodh Pandya, Seema Tyagi from Ghaziabad, Naresh Shah from Gujarat including Bihar Jharkhand Delhi Himachal Pradesh Odisha and representatives of Andhra Pradesh were present.
