On PM’s call for #VocalForLocal, Indian brands getting thumbs up

If 130 crore people start using only Indian made goods and apps like ShareChat, Jio, Flipkart which will have a worldwide effect. The playback singer has shown his support towards promoting Made in India products, wherever possible," he said.

Soon after appeals made by celebrities like Sonam Wangchuk, Yoga Guru Ramdev, Arshad Warsi, Milind Soman, Abhijeet Sawant, Ayushmann Khurana, Ranvir Shorey and many others who joined wagon of boycotting the Chinese products and apps; movement to adopt Indian brands on social media has gone strong and viral in recent days. The sentiments have gone strong on national agenda with countrymen supporting "Bharat Narrative" urging Indians to go complete "Swadesi". Indians netizens finding different innovative ways to express their "Swadesi” attributes. Lawyer and activist Varsha Madhukar draws an analogy with Japanese Economy and said " Post World War II, when Japanese economy collapsed, Japanese took the national initiative to support their country made products, goods and services. The national wide initiative not only revitalised economy but brought back lost pride of its nation.
