PM Modi to attend house warming of beneficiaries of PMAY on Oct 2

Bhopal: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Thursday that PM Narendra Modi will attend the griha pravesh (house warming) of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) on October 2. Chouhan was reviewing preparations for the PMs proposed programme with collector Gwalior and officials of related departments through video conferencing from his residence. The chief minister further said that a large number of needy people in the state have got their houses through housing schemes. The credit for this achievement also goes to the officers and employees of the concerned departments. In Gwalior, about 2 lakh beneficiaries have got direct benefits from the PMAY rural scheme.
