E-cigarettes a means to bypass tobacco laws

E-cigarettes may be used as a means to circumvent tobacco control laws. ECs are being marketed to tobacco smokers for use in places where smoking is not allowed, such as smoke free pubs or restaurants. Use of ECs in places with established indoor smoking laws could be a step backward for public health as it may prove  a negative for someone who may have otherwise quit nicotine.

Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) or E-cigarettes (ECs) are plastic and metal devices in the shape of a cigarette that when sucked heats a liquid containing a solution of propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin or polyethylene glycol 400 mixed with flabours. Nicotine, a chef constituent of ENDs, is very addictive and may lead to cardiovascular diseases, lung diseases and the like due to its high level of toxicity.       .
