Faridabad administration launches helpline for people suffering from mental health issues due to Covid-19

The tele-counselling service would be provided free of cost and residents have been told to contact the dedicated numbers from 9am to 5pm.

To help people suffering from mental health issues due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Faridabad administration and Social Justice and Empowerment Department has launched a helpline number.

The tele-counselling service would be provided free of cost and residents have been told to contact the dedicated numbers from 9am to 5pm.

“This helpline number is one of its kind in Haryana where people can reach the experts from their homes. District administration with help of experts associated with the social justice department would provide the necessary counselling services with the help of psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist and counsellors after assessing their situation and people would be referred to the concerned experts as per their need," said Ajay Singh Tomer, director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department.
