Lost & found centre to come up at Gzb RapidX station now

Ghaziabad: With the RapidXs 17km priority section from Sahibabad to Duhai all set to become operational soon, the NCRTC is busy introducing services to enhance commute experience. As part of this endeavour, a dedicated Lost and Found Centre has been established at the Ghaziabad RapidX station to expedite the retrieval of misplaced belongings.This centre will streamline the process of reuniting passengers with their lost possessions. If any passenger misplaces their belongings on the station premises or inadvertently leaves any baggage or belongings on RapidX trains, they can contact the station staff for assistance. Additionally, inquiries and support regarding lost and found items can be obtained by calling the RapidX Customer Service Centre at 08069651515, said an official from NCRTC.In case RapidX staff locates or receives lost or forgotten items within the station premises or on the train, passengers will have 24 hours to retrieve their belongings from the same station where they were misplaced or left. The new plan will see the corridor enter Gurgaon from Aerocity, with Cyber Hub as the first station. The alignment will then shift to the other side of the expressway until Kherki Daula, where a three-level underground station will be built. The revised alignment shortens the corridor to around 80km, with the Cyber Hub, Rajiv Chowk, Hero Honda Chowk, and Kherki Daula stations being underground.Delhi-Meerut RRTS: PM Modi to inaugurate Indias first RAPIDX project on October 20; priority section between Duhai-Sahibabad to openIndias first Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), called RAPIDX, is set to be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on October 20. The priority section of RAPIDX, covering 17 kilometers between Duhai and Sahibabad, will be opened. The RRTS project, covering 82 kilometers, is expected to be completed by 2025. It will have a maximum operational speed of 160 kmph, with an average speed of 100 kmph. The RRTS rolling stock train sets, manufactured by Alstom in Gujarat, will operate at 160 kmph. The fares for RAPIDX are yet to be disclosed.
