GHAZIABAD: Two persons were arrested on Friday for allegedly killing their friend during a party in Loni. They had attacked him with a stone and smashed his face, police said.According to police, Kuldeep (33) alias Kuli and Balraj (29) alias Billu are relatives and are residents of Loni and Nandgram, respectively. Rajneesh Upadhyay, ACP, said that they had recovered a body from Loni on October 1.The deceased was identified as Anil Rathore (28), a resident of Nandgram.Initial investigation suggested that on August 31, Rathore called Balraj to Loni to talk about issues in his relationship. Anil also invited other people to the liquor party, which was only attended by Balraj and Kuldeep. While they were consuming alcohol, Kuldeep made some jokes about his love life and Balraj agreed, leading to a heated argument between the three. During the fight, the two attacked Rathore with a stone and also disfigured his face so no one recognises him, the ACP explained. After Anil was found dead in Loni, his phone contacts were checked and the last call was made to Balraj, who was arrested from Loni on Friday.Balraj confessed to the crime and informed that Kuldeep was also involved. The latter was caught the same day.The two were booked under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the IPC.
