Car runs over pet dog, driver booked

GHAZIABAD: A resident of Niti Khand 1 was booked on Friday for negligent driving and crushing a dog to death with his car. CCTV footage of the incident is being shared on social media, sparking outrage among people.The incident happened last week but the footage made rounds online on Thursday.In the video, the dog can be seen walking with a boy who is using his phone while a SUV driven by Arpit Gupta runs over the dog and flees.The owner of the dog said that the pet was out with their guard and a helper. My dog had gone out for a walk with our guard and helper at 7am. The car belongs to a resident of our society and the accident was witnessed by other society guards too. They tried to stop the car but the driver drove away.
