GHAZIABAD: Two residents of Tila Mor were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly murdering a 30-year-old man for allegedly not approving one of the accuseds affair with his niece, leading to arguments between them. The accused and the victim lived in the same locality.On November 18, police recovered the body of Satendra from near Hindon Air Force Station.An investigation revealed Akshay Tomar hatched a plan to kill Satendra with the help of their friend, Sumit, after Satendra threatened Akshay with dire consequences if he continued his relationship with his niece.Shubham Patel, DCP (Trans-Hindon), said for the last one year, Akshay was in a relationship with the deceaseds niece, which was discovered by Satendra a few days ago. Satendra gave Akshay a warning when Akshay visited his house. A few days ago, too, Satendra and Akshay had a heated argument about the affair. Akshay allegedly felt ashamed as Satendra threatened him with dire consequences in public. He decided to murder Satendra and involved Sumit, a common friend, Patel added.Akshay confessed that on November 17 evening, Tomar and Sumit planned a party with Satendra. They waited for Satendra to consume alcohol and lose consciousness. Then they took him near the boundary wall of the Hindon Air Force Station on his bike, where they murdered him before fleeing from the spot. The accused broke a liquor bottle and stabbed Satendras throat. Then they smashed his face with a brick, Patel said, adding that cops have recovered the bike, pieces of the glass bottle, and the brick used in the crime.
