GHAZIABAD: A woman and her alleged lover were among the three persons arrested for allegedly murdering her husband in Indirapuram earlier this month.According to the police, Pushpa and Shailendra Valmiki allegedly conspired to kill Brij Kishore. They involved Nanhe Valmiki, Shailendras cousin, in their plan. The victim and the perpetrators are all residents of Sector 63.Shailendra, who lived on rent next door to Brij Kishore and Pushpa, had borrowed money from Brij and refused to return it while he also developed a relationship with Pushpa. According to police, Shailendra and Nanhe took Brij to a service road near the Chhijarsi underpass. They fought with him, stabbed him in the neck and repeatedly hit him with bricks. They left Brij to die and fled from the scene, said DCP Patel. Cops were alerted of a body near the Chhijarsi underpass by passersby. Patel said the body was taken into custody and sent to the mortuary but could not be identified before Brijs brother Lokpal identified him.
