Panaji: A casino employee was arrested on Monday at the Goa international airport in connection with stealing liquor bottles worth Rs 1,000 each. The theft occurred over a period of over two months at an offshore casino docked in the River Mandovi.Panaji police said an FIR has been registered against the employee and another person, both of whom worked in the casino’s housekeeping department.The duo allegedly stole 50 bottles from the casino.Police sub-inspector Arun Desai said that the FIR has been registered against two persons, but only person has been arrested in the theft case.The employee who was arrested, was leaving the state fearing arrest in the case.
