Goa wet spell records state's highest at 66.2mm

The high waves, not too far from the state's northern coast, are likely to persist till 11.30pm on June 19.Fishermen have been cautioned not to venture out to sea. On June 21, heavy rainfall at a few places and very heavy rainfall at isolated places is likely.IMD, has also informed the public about a cautionary notice issued by Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), Hyderabad, regarding high waves in the range of 3-3.3m along the coast of Maharashtra from Malvan in the south to Vasai in the north. The high waves, not too far from the state's northern coast, are likely to persist till 11.30pm on June 19.Fishermen have been cautioned not to venture out to sea.
