IMD ), Panaji, has forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall in isolated places for June 19, 20 and 22 in both districts. PANAJI: The capital city was the only centre out of 13 in Goa to record the highest rainfall of 66.2mm during the last 24 hours till Monday morning. The high waves, not too far from the state's northern coast, are likely to persist till 11.30pm on June 19.Fishermen have been cautioned not to venture out to sea. However, rain activity intensified later and torrential rainfall was recorded all over the state.With the southwest monsoon showing signs of revival, the city received a wet spell beginning late Sunday.
