Curiositybased learning for students of government schools

PANAJI: A programme aimed at strengthening children’s understanding of scientific concepts using a model based on problem-solving will soon be introduced for students of classes VII to X in 10 government schools across the state.The programme, titled ‘Jigyasa: Curiosity-based learning using STEM (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics) methodology’, was launched at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) by Children’s Rights in Goa in partnership with ActionAid Association and Siemens.An orientation was held for participants, including members of parent teacher associations.
