Not working on solution for political gains: Prime Minister Narendra ModiPANAJI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a state delegation on Wednesday over the resumption of mining in Goa and said he would look for a resolution to restart operations. But if there is no solution, why will there be a reason to cheer?”The state delegation told Modi that the cessation of mining had affected 12,000 truck owners, 700 machinery and around 3 lakh families. He has assured us to come out with solution for resumption of mining in the state,” Naik said.He also said they told Modi that leases are in private properties and it belonged to existing mining companies. When we told the PM about the condition of people in the mining belt, he was saddened. The Centre and the state government, besides the three BJP MPs from Goa, are working over the same.
