Goa University to boost its online presence

A consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs 15,000 will be offered for this position. The last date for applications for the post is March 29.Updates about courses Joffered, upcoming events and extra-curricular activities conducted will be flashed on these social media platforms.Training will also be imparted to teachers and students on responsible use of social media on their personal profile.“The consultant will engage more actively with stakeholders by sharing knowledge and research emerging from Goa University, collaborate with existing initiatives such as our website to disseminate news for greater visibility on social media platforms, enhance the university’s visual footprint in cyberspace and train staff and students to generate content for stakeholders,” a notification issued by GU on its website reads.While university officials have declined to comment on the number of applications received so far, Reddy said, “There are no plans to extend the last date of applications, as of now.”
