On Monday, Mapusa police seized 8,100 litres of whisky worth Rs 71 lakh from a Maharashtra-registered truck. MAPUSA: The crackdown on illegal liquor continued in the state with the North Goa district investigation unit raiding three premises on Wednesday and seizing alcohol worth nearly Rs 1.5 crore .Police said three premises in Dhargal, Pernem , were raided at 11.30am based on alert about illegal storage and sale of a large quantity of liquor. The raid was conducted under the guidance of SP North.
