Stop paying for parking: CCP

"It is revealed from the records that you have failed and neglected to pay the outstanding dues of Rs 24,75,249 plus interest as on date. Two months ago, CCP issued a demand notice to Straight Deal Services seeking recovery of the outstanding dues of Rs 24.75 lakh owed to the civic body as pay parking fees.According to the contract signed between the two parties, Straight Deal Services had to pay monthly charges of Rs 5.25 lakh from May 2016 till April 2017, the tenure of the contract.

Based on a representation made by Straight Deal Services, a 50% rebate was given to the contractor from May 2016 to October 2016 and he was asked to pay Rs 2.50 lakh for the six months.The contractor failed to cough up the money and has instead made counter allegations that his earnings were lower than estimated because CCP failed to demarcate the parking areas, allegations that CCP has repeatedly denied."It is revealed from the records that you have failed and neglected to pay the outstanding dues of Rs 24,75,249 plus interest as on date.
