In this regard, the government has framed rules, under which identification of survey, old cadastral plan (which shows the extent, value, and ownership of land), or an equivalent survey plan can be produced," he said."As per the rules, on payment of a fee, the government will issue an identification certificate and necessary corresponding certificate for the old cadastral plan, with its equivalent in the current survey," Parrikar said.The rules will come into force after their notification and the certificate will be issued by the inspector of land survey and the superintendent of land survey."All who have details of cadastral maps but no survey number, for them this will be helpful.
