Kazakhstan national held for overstay

Calangute: Calangute police on Wednesday arrested a Kazakhstan national Nailya Pilts, 35, for overstaying in the country. Her visa had expired since last two years, said PI Jivba Dalvi.An offence was registered under Section 7(1)(iii) of Foreigners Order Act, 1948 r/w Section 14 of Foreigners Act, 1946. At the time of arrest, Pilts didn't produce any travel documents. Later, she was remanded to judicial custody.
