Members of the search committee to be constituted as new vice chancellors have been called by the Raj Bhavan from the Higher Education Department and UGC. After the committee members are decided and formed, applications for the post of vice-chancellor will be scrutinized. According to the information, DAVV may get a new chancellor by September 2020.

The process started four months later, the process of the new Vice Chancellor of DAVV was to be started by Raj Bhavan in February 2020 but due to the transition of Corona, the process got stuck and now it is started after four months in June. However, corona infection is now more than ever.
