The number of corona patients is continuously increasing in Indore. 188 new infections were found late Wednesday. Amidst all this, a relieving news is that the OPD Medical College Administration of MY Hospital, which has been closed for nearly five months due to the infection of Carona, has decided to resume from August 17 for patients with common ailments. The OPD building of the hospital is being sanitized every day from 13 to 16 August. OPD will provide medical advice for all common diseases. Apart from this, facility of investigation and medicine will also be available. OPD timings will be from 8:30 AM to 2 PM.

A total of 188 patients were found infected with 2725 samples tested at night, while 2497 reports were negative. Report of 29 patients where repeat was positive. At the same time, 11 samples were rejected. So far, investigation reports of 1 lakh 65 thousand 285 people have been received in the district. Out of this 9257 people have been found infected, out of which 6166 people have returned home after beating Corona. At the same time, 340 people have died. 2751 patients are hospitalized separately.

After the survey, it will be known how much spread of corona disease has been done. The survey is being conducted with the technical support of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) as per the criteria of the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR). Divisional Commissioner Dr. Pawan Sharma and Collector Manish Singh said that we will be able to detect antibodies in this survey. This makes it easy to assess how widespread the infection was. So far, the population has developed immunity against it.

There are also people in the city who have no symptoms of corona. They did not even get tested, so they would not have come positive, but they may have developed antibodies. It is sincerely expected that the public will also be curious to know how many percent of the people of the city have developed resistance to fight the disease. Therefore, cooperate with the survey team. Scientifically, some houses from each ward have been selected through lottery. Therefore, samples will be taken only from those houses.
