Nagda Hold meeting to review action plan for third Covid wave demands Nagarik Adhikar Manch

Nagda (Ujjain district Madhya Pradesh): Nagarik Adhikar Manch a non government organisation has asked administration to hold a meeting to review preparations for the third corona wave and also to review arrangements made in view of second wave. On behalf of Nagarik Adhikar Manch Abhay Chapda advocate Shailendra Singh ChouhanVishal Panchal raised demands. They said one more oxygen plant should be set up in Bima hospital with addition of 200 beds while a 100-bed Covid centre should be set up in Khachrod hospital. According to Manch a resolution should be passed condemning Nagda's industries which helped Ujjain by opening a Covid care centre in Ujjain. The Manch also demanded Rs 1 crore for Nagda to upgrade health care facilities in addition to Rs 25 lakh for Khachrod Rs 10 lakh for Madawada and Chaparweda respectively.

Manch said administration should pass proposal for installing CT scan machine and send it to government. “Under guidance of senior doctors training programmes for doctors should be organised in Khachrod-Nagda area” its members stated in a prèss statement issued on Monday. Its other demands include appointment of staff in Bima Hospital and in government hospitals in Khachrod Nagda Chaparweda Madawada besides converting Jan Seva Hospital into a Covid Centre and installing mini oxygen plants in Khachrod Chapakheda and Ghinonda. On behalf of Nagarik Adhikar Manch Abhay Chapda advocate Shailendra Singh ChouhanVishal Panchal raised demands.
