Congress Indore city prez serves defamation notice to BJP counterpart

Indore: A day after Indore city president of both the major political parties participated in a debate programme before indulging in mud-slinging, Congress Indore city president on Thursday said to have served a defamation notice to his counterpart in BJP for his claim that the former had pleaded before him to give membership of the saffron party.BJP Indore city president Gaurav Randive was frustrated (in Indore Press Clubs programme Aamne-Samne) as he didnt get the ticket from his party and in that mode, he made baseless allegations on me.I dont even have his number and never contacted him for anything. I have sent a defamation notice to him for his baseless allegations and will take legal action against him if he fails to apologise in three days, Chaddha said.He said that Randive will have to take another birth to take him to BJP as he is a true Congressman and will always remain with the party.Meanwhile, Randive said that he has not received any notice yet. Issues such as Chandakhori, taxes on traders, lack of amenities, employment generation, heritage restoration, and traffic congestion have been raised by the candidates.Over 79 file nominations in Indore & Ujjain divisionsNineteen candidates have submitted their nomination forms to contest assembly polls in different seats of Indore district, including candidates from various political parties such as AAP, BSP, BJP, and Congress. Similar nominations have also been filed in other districts such as Dewas, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Agar-Malwa, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Ratlam, and Dhar. The last day to file nominations is October 30th.
