Indoreans step out for Diwali shopping

Indore: People visited markets in city to shop for Diwali festival on the occasion of Pushya Nakshtra, a day considered auspicious for buying gold, utensils and household items.Indores oldest Sarafa market was abuzz with customers. Indore Sarafa Association president Anil Raka said, There is no specific demand, customers are buying as per their need. This year, Pushya Nakshtra will extend for two days until November 5. Automobile showrooms also saw customers taking deliveries of their vehicles . Gaurav Shrivastava, an executive at a showroom said, Muhurat deliveries were taking place during the day . Rajwada utensil market also saw a jump in customers footfall. The woman who was assaulted had ordered groceries and was attacked when she opened the door. The online grocery store is cooperating with the police investigation.Blinkit delivery agent who groped customer in Greater Noida flat held after gunfightA 25-year-old delivery executive from Blinkit, an online grocery store, was arrested after sexually assaulting a 19-year-old customer in Greater Noida West. The accused was caught in a gunfight in Khairpur village. He had initially escaped from police custody but was later apprehended after firing at the police. The victim had ordered groceries and was attacked when she opened the door. The accused has been booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. Blinkit is cooperating with the police investigation.
