Indore: Candidates of the BJP, the Congress and the AAP from Indore-IV constituency came face-to-face during a poll debate on Saturday in the press club auditorium.Malini Gaud talked about the contribution of her husband Laxman Singh Gaud in movements for construction of Lord Ram Temple and for abrogation of Article 370.She talked about different developmental works and proposed to develop Ranjit Lok on lines of Lord Mahakal temple in the area.She refuted all allegations of opposition parties candidates including extortion by her son from businessmen by saying, There is no proof for involvement of my son in any such deeds. If there is any proof, show it.Congress candidate Raja Mandhwani said, There is no development in the area. She talked about widening the road on Mhow naka. The people are suffering because of dug up roads. She needs to go inside localities in areas not on the main road.The people claimed that she visits us only once in five years during election, alleged Mandhwani. He proposed to open MLA offices in every ward to locally sort out peoples grievances, open clinics and schools in every ward for poor if voted to power. He further advocated for a roadmap for the constituencys development.Dr Piyush Joshi from AAP presented a blueprint of development works like construction of five schools, Mohalla clinics with doctors and forming an authority for safeguarding the interest of businessmen including legal issues. Dr Joshi said, The clinics will be operational unlike the (BJP government) Sanjeevani clinics. He said that the pathetic state of education lays bare in the government school outside Indore-4 MLAs house that runs in just two classrooms. The state is number one for over a decade in infant mortality rate, second in MMR showing poor state of health in state. Mandhwani submitted his citizenship documents, stating that he renounced Pakistani citizenship and obtained Indian citizenship in accordance with the regulations. He also mentioned the upcoming consecration of Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhyas temple and highlighted the improvement in infrastructure under the BJP government.
