5-member team to address pending 125 complaints of students at CM helpline

Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has formed a five-member team to address 125 complaints on 125 CM helpline primarily centred around the examination department. Approximately 70 complaints await resolution at Level 1, with more than 15 each at subsequent three levels.In an effort to expedite the resolution process, the university has deployed a specialized five-member team to tackle these grievances, which range across the four levels of the CM helpline system at DAVV.Some complaints are very challenging posed by certain students making unreasonable demands, such as grade inflation or duplicate mark sheet requests despite previous dispatch to their colleges. As per the rules we cannot fulfil such demands. Despite these obstacles, the university remains resolute in its mission to minimize the backlog and bring the number of pending complaints down to zero, from the previous range of 300-400 cases, said examination controller at DAVV Dr Ashesh Tiwari. As the number of pending complaints continues to rise steadily, DAVV has taken proactive measures to address this issue by involving senior officials to expedite the resolution process. A recent notice issued by Dr Ajay Verma, the registrar of DAVV reads, The university handles CM helpline complaints ranging from Level 1 (L-1) to Level 4 (L-4). Bit its overall grading is facing a decline due to some complaints not being addressed within the stipulated time frame. Most complaints are related to examination department.All state universities receive monthly grading from higher education department concerning the handling of CM helpline complaints.
