Woman electrocuted after touching water heater

Indore: A newly-married woman was electrocuted after she accidentally touched immersion rod water heater kept in bucket filled with water.DSP Umakant Choudhary said Alka, wife of Rajesh Bhilala, resident of Balaji Dham colony in Gandhi Nagar, was alone at home when the incident took place. Her husband and brother-in-law were employed at a local plastic factory.So, they were away at work when the incident occurred.It was in the evening, around 5 pm, that the landlord of the house found Alka near the water bucket inside her home, with an electric iron rod lying nearby. He immediately called police and informed Alkas husband. The woman was rushed to the hospital, but she was declared brought dead by the doctors.
