Three killed in two accidents

Indore: Three people were killed in two separate accidents in Gautampura and Dhar road on Wednesday.Gautampura police said that Ayush (20), a resident of Chambal village and Vishnu, a resident of Salvi Mohalla in Gautampura, were riding on a bike when they were hit by a speeding truck coming from Rajasthan. Both were mowed down by the truck on Mendhakwas turn on Gautampura-Depalpur road.They fell off the bike and died on the spot, DSP Umakant Choudhary said. Their family members were informed, and the bodies were handed over to them after autopsy.On Dhar road, one Geeta, a resident of Morgaon, was also hit by a vehicle. She was taken to MY hospital where she died. The accident occurred when a tempo collided with Gaudes vehicle. The truck driver, Pradeep Mahto, was arrested for reckless and negligent driving. Mahto, originally from Bihar and currently residing in Duler, Mapusa, was driving the tempo on the Kundaim-Mapusa route. The collision happened as Gaudes scooter was also traveling in the same direction.Five of family killed in truck-bike collision in KarnatakaA family of five, including two children, died in a collision between their motorcycle and a truck in Karnataka. The incident occurred in the Afzalpur taluk of Kalaburagi district. The truck was attempting to overtake the motorcycle when the collision happened. The truck driver fled the scene and authorities are trying to locate them. The investigation is ongoing and the identities of the victims are currently unknown.
