Blast due to LPG leakage leaves 3 injured

Indore: A 45-year-old woman, her son and daughter-in-law received severe burns after a blast due to LPG leakage in their house on Wednesday morning in Vijay Nagar. Hearing the screams, neighbours rushed in and found Samina Sheikh, Nazmeen (22), and Shahrukh (28) lying on the spot, ASI Anil Pathak said. The bodies have been sent for DNA tests as they could not be identified by relatives. The workers were in the chemical unit when a suspected short-circuit caused the fire and blasts. The district administration has instructed the CEO of the factory to clear chemical-filled barrels and debris from the accident site. Compensation is expected to be provided to the victims families.Karnataka: 5 of family, including ice cream bizman, arrested for abetting daughter-in-laws suicideThe owner of a popular ice cream brand and his family have been arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of his elder daughter-in-law. The suspects were stopped on the Mumbai-Pune highway and detained. The daughter-in-law was found hanging from the ceiling at her home, and in a suicide note, she accused her in-laws of pushing her towards suicide. The family had been living separately from the in-laws due to differences.
