Double murder: Cops suspect son may be involved

Indore: A day after an elderly retired bank manager and his daughter were found murdered, police suspect his 43-year-old son may have committed the double murder.The deceased Kamal Kishore and Rama Arora were found murdered in their house with severe blunt injuries on the back of their head in Navlakha area of Sanyogitaganj on Wednesday evening. Kishores son Pulindra, who is undergoing treatment for schizophrenia, had been missing after the murder.It is suspected that he committed the crime and locked the door from outside and left on his red coloured two-wheeler. All the circumstantial evidence points towards him being the suspect, ACP Tushar Singh said.Singh said that Pulindra was known to have a very volatile nature and has been to rehabilitation thrice. He had left the house and gone missing for over a week and even more several times in the past. The family members had also registered a missing complaint, but he used to come back, Singh said.Police are finding it very difficult to locate the man as he has no friends, he doesnt use a phone and is driving a vehicle with a blurred number plate which was purchased pre-owned seven years ago. Since he did not like to meet anyone, there were no relatives that he could go to.Police are now looking at CCTV footage of the nearby areas to ascertain where he went. We have recovered footage of the building from where he was seen going on the scooty. He was not seen in any of the other CCTV on the roads, said Singh.The bodies of the deceased were handed over to family members on Thursday to carry out the final rites.
