Man attacked in Tillor Khurd post voting

Indore: Tillor Khurd village remained tense on Friday afternoon after a fight broke out between two communities post voting. A man returning home after casting his vote was allegedly attacked by a group of people. The accused again returned to the victims home and pelted stones at a few houses.Khudel police have deployed a heavy force in the area to avoid any untoward incident.On the complaint of Subhash Patidar (40), a case of violence and rioting was registered against Jitendra, Bhavesh Thakur, Yash Raj Thakur, Ritik Thakur, Kundan alias Mithun, Manish Thakur.DSP Umakant Choudhary said Subhashs nephew Rohit had gone to the polling station with his grandmother Gulab Bai. When he was returning from there, they were accosted by a group of people.The accused started abusing him verbally and broke the glass of his two-wheeler. They then thrashed him brutally. Gulab Bai sought help from locals and took him to the hospital. The situation remained tense as the family members of Rohit were angered by the incident.After a few hours, the accused reached Rohits residence and pelted stones at the house and in the area. No one was injured in the attack.Police have detained many of the accused.
