Indore: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) is facing a backlog of revaluation requests following the recent announcement of results for various first and second-year subjects. Thousands of students are eagerly awaiting the outcome, which has been delayed due to election duties.Students submitted their revaluation applications before the Diwali holidays, but the election duties of the evaluators slowed down the revaluation process.The situation prompted a wave of dissatisfaction among students from BEd,MEd, MA, and MSc courses.Assuring swift action, the examination department at DAVV now aims to streamline operations within the next two weeks. Over two dozen examination results are pending due to staffing shortages, with expectations for resolution in the initial weeks of December.The revaluation work has commenced now after the elections. We are aiming at announcing the revaluation results by the second week of December. As all the evaluators were deployed for election duty, the revaluation work was halted, DAVV examination controller Dr Ashesh Tiwari said. The delay caused by election duties has pushed the revaluation result announcement by 10 to 15 days. The recently announced results witnessed a passing percentage of 70 to 75.
