Four booked for abduction, robbery of businessman

Indore: Banganga police booked four people for abducting and robbing a 25-year-old Mandsaur businessman.The accused, Sachin knew the complainant, Vishal Asheri, who runs a cloth shop in Mandsaur and both were travelling in the formers car to Indore. Sachin took him to a secluded place on Sanwer road, where Sachins three friends were also present. They held him captive, and started abusing and attacking him, causing injury.The accused told Asheri that they would free him only after he gave in to their demand for money, police said.Asheri handed over Rs 15,000 from his account and sought help of Rs 23,000 from his friend to give it to them. The accused also snatched a gold chain from him. Sachin then took Asheri to Ujjain. The victim, a 17-year-old, was recently transferred to the observation home after being detained in a robbery case. The three suspects, who recently turned 18, were detained in rape and theft cases. The victim accused them of forcing a soap cake into his mouth, sexually assaulting him, and threatening to eliminate him. The observation home authorities alerted the police after the victim mustered the courage to report the incident.
