226 ETPBS received for service voters

Indore: Indore election office has received 226 Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System (ETPBS) till Wednesday evening.As many as 1892 government employees, who are either in the Army and posted on borders or foreign countries, registered as service voters in Indore, would use ETBPS to cast their votes. As per the instructions of Election Commission of India, ETPBS that will be received till 8am on December 3 — before counting starts — will be accepted and added to the counting.Around 1600 government employees, who are posted in Indore but are registered as voters in other districts, cast their votes through postal ballots that were sent to their respective home-towns for counting and adding in the results.
